Hello Everyone! Thank you very much for checking out my first blog post! Due to being a newbie, sorry it won't be perfect, but neither will my blog. Hopefully I'll understand everything pretty quickly. Anyway, I shall get on with my review :)
After trying many, many foundations and wasting lots and lots of pocket money I have finally found my holy grail foundation.
Firstly I shall describe my skin type; it's combination; tend to get an oily t-zone, I am prone to a few pesky breakouts, but I have normal cheeks.
I own the lightest shade in this foundation range: 010 Light Porcelain. It's a 'match perfection' for my pale complexion with it's pink undertone.
The reason why match perfection is my holy grail is because of the coverage, finish and lasting power it has to offer. The consistency is much like a high-end foundation and glides on very nicely. The finish isn't matte but neither is it overly dewy. The smell is also very pleasant (in my opinion), but I don't know if this means it wouldn't be suitable for you if you're sensitive to fragranced products. And finally, the packaging is great too! In a classy, glass bottle that comes with a pump! (Always a bonus!)
In my opinion, it's one of the best high street/drugstore foundations available. It's usually £6.99 but I always manage to pick it up for £5 when it's on offer at either Boots or Superdrug.
Thanks again for reading my blog post.
What's your holy grail foundation?
